Human Resources for Health launch an international joint special issue: "Towards a scaling-up of training and education for health workers”

"Towards a scaling-up of training and education for health workers" constitutes the
collaboration of over 20 top medical journals led by Human Resources for
Health
. Over the coming 12 months, each journal will contribute in their own unique way to the theme of
scaling-up training and education of health workers, thereby addressing the
critical need for a skilled, sustainable health workforce internationally and
in the developing world.

The following six partnering journals – including Human Resources for Health
– have already published their contributing issues:

Human Resources for Health will publish articles on this theme on an
ongoing basis up to June 2009. To keep up-to-date with the publication of
