BMC Bioinformatics
reached an impressive milestone in May 2007, receiving 105 manuscript
submissions – a record number for the journal. This is the first first
time that monthly submissions for a single BioMed Central journal have
reached triple digits, and demonstrates the continuing success and
growth of BioMed Central’s journals.
We are especially pleased to see BMC Bioinformatics
maintaining and improving its position, as bioinformatics is now a very competitive field of
publishing, and authors have many open access journals to choose from. We would like to thank the authors, peer reviewers
and editorial board members who have helped to make BMC Bioinformatics
such a
success.
