Marc Taylor
Marc Taylor has chaired the ISRCTN registry since 2011. He is Vice-Chair of the UK Research Integrity Office and a member of an expert committee advising the Health Research Authority on confidentiality. Until 2011 he worked in the then Department of Health for 20 years, the last 10 of them on creating the structures which now support research in health and social care. Before 1991 he was in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, working mainly on the overseas aid programme. Marc is married with four adult sons and five grandchildren.
