Adriana completed a BSc in Veterinary Medicine at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV, Venezuela). After a few years in veterinary practice, she moved to London to complete an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases in Animals at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC, UK). She is a current PhD student at the RVC researching the transmission, population genetics and control of blood fluke species that parasitise African livestock.
