Chris Whitty

Chris Whitty is Professor of Public and International Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), consultant epidemiologist at the PHE Malaria Reference Laboratory (MRL) and physician at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases alongside various government roles. He was previously the Director of the LSHTM Malaria Centre, and the ACT Consortium. Chris is an epidemiologist who has worked on malaria and other diseases of poverty in Africa and Asia, and imported infections into the UK.
