Noelia Valderrama
Noelia Valderrama is an aquatic biologist with an MSc in Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management. She's an FWO PhD fellow at KU Leuven and the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Belgium. Her research centres on unravelling the distribution of snail hosts for parasitic diseases in Uganda, DRC, and Chad, with a goal of employing citizen science data to contribute to their prevention and control.
