Dr Mira Johri is Professor in the Department of Health Management, Evaluation and Policy at the University of Montreal, and Principal Scientist at the University of Montreal Hospital Research Centre (CRCHUM). Dr. Johri’s research focuses on global child health.She studied economics, ethics and political philosophy at McGill University, and epidemiology and public health at Yale University. Mira has worked as advisor or consultant for international organizations such as the World Health Organization and the GAVI Alliance and is particularly interested in the potential of community engagement approaches to improve health and development outcomes.
Dr Nils Chaillet is a medical anthropologist specialized in perinatal epidemiology. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Laval University and Head of Research for the Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr Chaillet is particularly interested in improving the quality of health care and knowledge transfer. His research activities focus on the development and evaluation of programs to improve the quality of reproductive health care, and on strategies for knowledge transfer, application and exchange to ensure the effective implementation of these programmes. He is Principal Investigator for the QUARISMA trial.
