Kimberlie La Mora is a student in her senior year at Eastern Washington University, completing her undergraduate degree in Zoology and has been involved in vegetation and wildlife habitat assessment research.She is interested in research and vector borne disease, partly due to contracting malaria in the form of P. falciparum after a trip to Guinea, West Africa as a teenager.
