Kate Meyer is the Founding Director of not-for-profit research centre the Planetary Accounting Network (PAN). In past roles Kate led the sustainable design for many large-scale developments. During this time, she became increasingly aware of the large gap between the science of sustainability, and business and government policies and action. To address this gap, she developed the concept of planetary accounting under the umbrella of a PhD. Kate’s vision is to use planetary accounting to help people quantify what we need to do to live well on a healthy planet.
