After spending four years studying the Hainan gibbon for her PhD, Dr Bryant is now a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Zoology where she continues to work on Hainan gibbon conservation. She travels to China regularly to work with local officials and carry out her applied field research which aims to inform conservation management efforts for the Hainan gibbon.
