Emilie Javelle, MD is a specialist in Infectious Diseases at the French Military Hospital Laveran in Marseille in France and PhD student at the Institut Hospitalo Universitaire (IHU) Méditerranée Infection, Aix Marseille University,. She was deployed as a military doctor for healthcare and research in French overseas territories and in Africa, notably in response to vector-borne diseases outbreaks.
