Anita Lukács is an Assistant Professor and public health researcher at the University of Szeged, Hungary. Her research focuses on the health status of children and adolescents; she is particularly interested in the ways of prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases. As a teacher, she highlights the importance of compulsory and recommended vaccinations in the prevention of infections. Her current work focuses on the importance of introducing a HPV vaccination program in many countries, as the population level impact of the vaccine is especially high.
