Alexander Pasternak is a Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Experimental Virology of the Academic Medical Center, University of Amsterdam. He has a PhD in molecular virology and his scientific interests lie in the field of HIV-1 reservoir and cure. Together with Prof. Ben Berkhout, he recently edited an article collection in Retrovirology “Measuring HIV-1 persistence in vivo.
