Jessica Butler is a research fellow at the Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science, a centre for collaboration between NHS Grampian and the University of Aberdeen. She studies the origins and development of chronic disease via large-scale linkage of NHS and government records. She also works with the NHS to design reproducible and transparent methods for research using high-security patient data. She is the local lead for the UK Reproducibility Network in Aberdeen and runs the Aberdeen Open Research Working Group.
