Ailbhe Spillane is a SPHeRE (Structured Population and Health-services Research Education) PhD scholar and is based in the School of Public Health and the National Suicide Research Foundation in University College Cork. The SPHeRE programme is funded by the Health Research Board. Her research focuses on the individual and societal impact of suicidal behaviour on family members.
