Stéphanie Degroote was the research coordinator of the VERDAS consortium from 2016 to 2018, based at the University of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is now the research coordinator of the UNISSahel project at the French Research Institute for Development (IRD, CEPED). She is specialized in global health research coordination and environmental health.
