Martin Jones

Martin Jones is the deputy head of microscopy prototyping in the electron microscopy science technology platform at the Francis Crick Institute in London. He trained as an experimental physicist working on interactions between single atoms and single photons. He went via a research lab at Cancer Research UK’s London Research Institute to the electron microscopy team, which became part of the new Crick Institute. In his current role, he develops new microscopy and analysis techniques to deal with the ever increasing amounts of data produced by modern imaging systems.
