Dr. Hai Nguyen is an Associate Professor and a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Health Policy Evaluation at Memorial University of Newfoundland. As a health economist, his research focuses on evaluation of health policies (particularly those relating to cannabis and tobacco use) as well as economic evaluation. He has published extensively in leading health economics and medical journals.
Shweta Mital is a PhD student at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her research interests include health policy evaluation and economic evaluation of new health care technologies. She earned a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Warwick.
