Dr. Fatuma Boru Guyo is Postdoctoral Scholar at Wright State University in Dayton Ohio. She holds a Ph. D. in African History from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) and a M.A. in History from Miami University of Ohio. She grew up in Northern border town of Moyale Kenya, where she received a B.A. in History from the University of Nairobi. Dr. Guyo’s research interests focus on colonial and post-colonial African history, with an emphasis on the history of East Africa.
