Enitan Carrol is a Professor of Paediatric Infection with over 20 years’ research experience in bacterial sepsis. Her research interests include understanding the host response and improving diagnosis of serious bacterial infection. A particular focus of her work is on tackling antimicrobial resistance through the improved diagnosis of life-threatening bacterial infection in the clinical evaluation of febrile children.
