David McIntyre & Philip Bennett
Dr David MacIntyre is based in the Parturition Research Group at Imperial College London, which is headed by Professor Phillip Bennett. Their research investigates the role of inflammation in the onset of term and preterm human labour. It is hoped that it will lead to improved diagnostic and predictive tools that will assist in patient stratification and ultimately, improved pregnancy outcomes.
