Sarah R. Lowe is currently an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Epidemiology at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and will be joining the Department of Psychology at Montclair State University as Assistant Professor in September 2015. Her research focuses on the long-term mental health consequences of natural disasters and other potentially traumatic events. She received her PhD in clinical psychology from University of Massachusetts Boston in 2012.
Oliver Gruebner is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Epidemiology at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. He is co-director of the annual international summer school program "spatial epidemiology, climate and health" at University of Bielefeld, Germany. His research focuses on spatial epidemiological approaches to mental health and child health relating to urban contexts. He received his PhD in Geography from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany in 2011.
