Why We Need to Pay Attention to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Student Conduct


In a recent editorial for the International Journal for Educational Integrity, Sarah Elaine Eaton wrote about New Priorities for Academic Integrity: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Decolonization, and Indigenization. Here she extends the conversation to discuss overrepresentation of minority groups in student misconduct cases and why more data is needed to address systemic barriers to student success.
