How one lizard thrives on top of the world

No lizard lives at a higher altitude than Phrynocephalus erythrurus, which makes it home high on the Tibetan plateau. New research, published today in BMC Evolutionary Biology, provides insights into the genetic changes this species has undergone in adapting to life in such a challenging environment.
