Harold (Hank) Weiss is a Technical Expert Lead (TEL) at JBS International and Adjunct Research Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He works as a senior content expert in substance use disorder epidemiology, prevention, treatment, and recovery for an assigned group of rural Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Rural Communities Opioid Response Program Technical Assistance (RCORP-TA) grantees in collaboration with other TELs and project leadership. He has a background and national leadership in Injury Epidemiology for both State Government and Academia. He is also an ardent pickleball player.
Anthony (AJ) Ernst has more than 30 years of clinical and administrative experience in primary and behavioral health settings, ranging from psychiatric emergency services and substance use disorder services, to overseeing national training and technical assistance for SAMHSA’s Co-occurring Center for Excellence and serving as the Project Director for SAMHSA’s Native American Center for Excellence. Dr. Ernst currently works as a Senior Technical Expert at JBS International, Inc., serving in HRSA’s Rural Communities Opioid Response Program and the Children Bureau’s Center for Native Child and Family Resilience Project.
Lisa Patton, a JBS Vice President and RCORP-TA Project Director, has more than 20 years of behavioral health, technical assistance, and mixed-methods evaluation experience. A clinical psychologist with a specialty in trauma, Dr. Patton has directed projects, conducted behavioral health services research and evaluation, and provided technical assistance and training on diverse behavioral health topics, including state and provider coaching on opioid data through the CMS Innovations Accelerator Program (IAP) and assisting states in developing opioid data dashboards. As part of the Department of Health and Human Services, Dr. Patton directed the work of the Division of Evaluation, Analysis, and Quality (DEAQ) in the Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality.
