Niyaz Ahmed is Editor in Chief of Gut Pathogens journal and Senior Director of the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research Bangladesh (icddr,b). His research is focused on molecular host pathogen interaction dynamics including genomics and epidemiology of enteric and tubercle bacilli.
