What’s in a name? That which we call a worm, by any other name would infect the same
Are Ascaris lumbricoides and Ascaris suum the same, or two distinct species? Why is this a question for debate and why should we care about the answer?

Sinéad is a PhD candidate at the Department of Comparative Biology & Experimental Medicine at University of Calgary. Her project is focusing on soil transmitted helminths (STHs) of global significance and determining how Mass Drug Administration, STHs and drug resistance interact using primarily molecular approaches.
