Mary Rouncefield now works as a free-lance artist having studied for a degree in art and illustration at the University of the West of England. She previously taught Mathematics and Statistics at both school and university levels during her earlier career. She is concerned that mathematics and science should be accessible and interesting to the general public and that more children will be encouraged to pursue careers in STEM subjects.
