Dr. Masato Yoshizawa

Dr. Masato Yoshizawa is an evolutionary biologist and neurobiologist at University of Hawaii at Manoa. His research focuses to understand constructive/enhanced evolution in the sensory system and how it generates adaptive behavior. Recently, based on his background in genetics and neuroscience, he draws a parallel between a set of cavefish behaviors and autism symptoms, and is involved in systemic researches related to autism.
