Lucy studied BSc Human Biosciences at the University of Exeter. Following two years working in healthcare, she joined the health sciences team in 2017, as Assistant Editor for the journal Trials and the ISRCTN registry.

Ella studied Biomedical and Molecular Sciences Research at King’s College London, graduating with a Masters in 2013. An open access and research reproducibility advocate, she has worked at BioMed Central since then.
