Hanitriniaina Rakotonirina made her PhD in the Department of Behavioral Ecology and Sociobiology at the German Primate Center in Göttingen. She is interested in social behavior as well as the evolution of facial coloration in lemurs. She is also interested in conservation of Malagasy biodiversity.
