Highlights from the BMC Series – November 2020

Kate is an Assistant Editor for the BMC Series and joined January of 2020. Prior to joining BMC, she studied at Columbia University and completed a Master of Science in Narrative Medicine, a developing field which proposes a model for compassionate, intersectional, and informed clinical practice. She also has clinical research experience in teen substance abuse recovery, Alzheimer’s disease, and radiation oncology.
Rachelle holds two undergraduate and two post-graduate degrees from Australia and the United Kingdom, most recently a Master's degree in Conservation Science from Imperial College London. She has been working with Springer Nature since August 2019, and as an Assistant Editor with BMC since July 2020. Her portfolio includes BMC Pulmonary Medicine, BMC Nephrology and BMC Urology.
