Professor Vandelanotte is a researcher at the Central Queensland University in Australia, where he leads the Physical Activity Research Group and the world renown 10,000 Steps program. His research focusses on the development and evaluation of health behavior change interventions to improve physical activity, sedentary behavior and sleep. He has published 250 peer-reviewed journal publications and secured $15 million (AUD) in competitive research funding, including from Australia’s top funding agencies (i.e., NHMRC, ARC, NHF).
