Professor Michael Berk, Dr. Brisa S. Fernandes & Dr. João Vian

Professor Michael Berk (left) is currently a NHMRC Senior Principal research Fellow, and is Alfred Deakin Chair of Psychiatry at Deakin University and Barwon Health, where he heads the IMPACT Strategic Research Centre. His major interests are in the discovery and implementation of novel therapies, and risk factors and prevention of psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Brisa S. Fernandes (top) is a psychiatrist and a postdoctoral scientist at Deakin University, with a particular interest in Precision Psychiatry and the discovery and application of biomarkers in mood disorders and schizophrenia.

Dr. João Vian (right) is a psychiatry resident at Hospital de Santa Maria in Lisbon, Portugal where he is also an assistant teacher of psychiatry at Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de Lisboa. Among his clinical interests are first episode psychosis, posttraumatic stress disorder and neuropsychiatry.
