Dr. Guerson-Gil is currently an Internal Medicine resident at Einstein Albert College of Medicine/Jacobi Medical Center, USA. She graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, Mexico where her interest in public health started. As a physician caring for patients in the Bronx, NY, she appreciates the profound impact obesity has on her patients’ quality of life. A rising Gastroenterology fellow at Stony Brook University, Arcelia began her career as a researcher investigating how obesity led to poor outcomes on patients’ diagnosed with COVID pneumonia.
