Amanda Bye
Amanda Bye is a Doctoral student at UCL Institute of Child Health and a Research Coordinator at King's College London. Amanda’s PhD research is on exploring the barriers to identifying women with eating disorders during pregnancy. This research led on to work with King’s College London to co-design training for healthcare professionals to improve knowledge and awareness on maternal eating disorders. Amanda has a particular interest in promoting the roles of primary care practitioners in identifying women at risk and supporting them and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.
