Information extraction is a major problem in the fields of natural language processing and web mining, in particular when it comes to evaluating domains where language cannot be taken at face value. In the study recently published on the journal Applied Network Science, Mayank Kejriwal and Rahul Kapoor present a method that can potentially be used to assess the quality of information extraction systems in the analysis such domains, using the case of human trafficking.
