About this blog<\/h2>\n

The On Medicine\u00a0<\/em>blog delivers insights and opinion on the high-quality and thought-provoking research published across BMC’s medical journals, including titles such as\u00a0BMC Medicine<\/em><\/a> and\u00a0Genome Medicine<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

We have over 75\u00a0open access\u00a0medical journals covering everything from clinical practice, to experimental and translational research.\u00a0They provide instant free access to high-quality, peer-reviewed research.<\/p>\n

As well as writing about the research we publish, this blog is\u00a0also a place to read\u00a0discussions of medical ethics and practices, insights into journal developments, and commentary on news in the field.\u00a0In addition, we shine the light on issues relating to transparency and reproducibility at all stages of medical research.<\/p>\n
