Jan Alexander & Eleni Papadopoulou

Professor Jan Alexander is a specialist in environmental and occupational medicine and a toxicologist at the Division of Infectious Disease Control and Environment and Health. He was chair of the Norwegian Experts Committee established by the Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services to review the evidence on possible negative health effects from weak RF fields. His main research interests are the impact of environmental toxicants, nutrients and other environmental factors on human health.

Dr. Eleni Papadopoulou is a postdoctoral scientist at the Department of Environmental Exposures and Epidemiology in Norwegian Institute of Public Health and has a background research experience in nutritional and environmental epidemiology. Her research is focused on environmental factors (i.e toxicants, diet, unwanted exposures) that act during pregnancy and can affect the development of chronic disease later in offspring’s life.
