Claire Horner-Devine

Dr. Claire Horner-Devine is the founder of Counterspace Consulting and serves as a BRAINS Co-Principal Investigator and Co-Director (@chornerdevine). Dr. Cara Margherio is a Senior Research Associate at the UW Center for Evaluation & Research for STEM Equity and leads the program evaluation for the BRAINS program as well as other  NSF- and NIH-funded projects. Dr. Sheri Mizumori is Chair and Professor of Psychology at the University of Washington (UW) and serves as the BRAINS Director and Principal Investigator.  Dr. Joyce Yen is the Director for the UW ADVANCE Center for Institutional Change and serves as a BRAINS Co-Principal Investigator and Co-Director.

The authors comprise the leadership team for the BRAINS Program: Broadening the Representation of Academic Investigators in NeuroScience. BRAINS is an NIH-NINDS-funded national program that seeks to support the success of early-career, post-PhD neuroscientists from URGs, specifically racial and ethnic minorities and persons with disabilities.
