Kathryn Rodeman & Inas Thomas

Dr. Rodeman graduated from the University of Toledo Medical School in 2015.She completed her internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic and is currently an endocrine fellow at the University of Michigan.Her research interests include type 1 diabetes and the complexities of managing type 1 diabetes in the young adult population.

Dr. Inas Thomas graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2003. She did her pediatric residency followed by a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at the University of Michigan. She joined the faculty at the University of Michigan in 2009 and was appointed the Associate Director of the Pediatric Diabetes Program. As of January 2019, she is now the Director for the Pediatric Diabetes Program.She has also served as the pediatric endocrinology fellowship director as well as a resident and medical school advisor. Her research interests include the education and transition of teens from pediatric endocrinology to adult endocrinology. She is also the principal investigator for the University of Michigan’s TrialNet Research Study for the past 4 years.
