Derek C Stewart, OBE
Derek is a patient advocate who is interested in ensuring that patient and public involvement takes place across all aspects of health research. A former teacher working with young people experiencing difficulties in mainstream education, Derek was treated successfully for throat cancer in 1995. Derek recently became a non-executive director at the ISRCTN registry.
