This is an important direction. But what about researchers in under-devloped countries who cannot afford publication fees

A subject that may change lives dramatically especially in Third World Countries is the actions as the result of the ongoing debate about climate change which is going to prevent both social and economic development of these countries with the aim to prevent the position of well developed and industrialized countries.
Maybe you could review and controversially discuss some of the statements of Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth” which is based of flawed data from I.P.C.C. but had a major impact not only on the cognition of the world’s population, but mainly on the credo of politicians in well developed and industrialized countries (and by the way made Al Gore a lot richer than he already was).

And you could highlight some views of scientists as for example Dr. Roy Spencer, principal research scientist at the University of Alabama at Huntsville and many others, who’s views are mainly based on measurements and not on models of future developments of chaotic systems of which even the last IPCC’s climate report states that they are completely unpredictable.

An other hint: Follow the money!!!

I know that it takes a lot of courage to stand up against mainstream opinions, but for someone who studied astrophysics it should be obvious to take a firm, scientific stand.
By doing this in a blog like this one, you could wake up a lot of people and make them think more critically.
Thanks
