Latest developments in Alzheimer’s drug discovery: 13th international conference of ADDF

Accelerating the development of innovative treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias is the target for scientists brought together at the 13th International Conference on Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF).

On 10 – 11 September 2012 in New Jersey, USA, academic and industry scientists will attend the annual conference to highlight scientific progress on drug discovery programs aimed at treating Alzheimer’s dementia, as well as forming partnerships with fellow researchers.

ADDF is a public charity supporting the advancement of drugs to prevent, treat, and cure Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias, and cognitive aging.

BioMed Central’s Alzheimer’s Research & Therapy journal is proud to have the Executive Director of ADDF, Professor Howard Fillit, on its international Editorial Board. The journal is also the annual publisher of the conference’s widely read meeting reports.

Alzheimer’s Research & Therapy is the major forum for translational research into Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases and is dedicated to publishing international peer-reviewed articles at the forefront of scientific breakthroughs in the field.
