Evelyne de Leeuw & Jean Simos

Evelyne de Leeuw is professor of health political science and Director of the Centre for Health Equity Training, Research and Evaluation at the University of New South Wales, the South Western Sydney Local Health District, and the Ingham Institute (Sydney, Australia). She has been involved in the global Healthy Cities efforts since 1986.

Jean Simos is professor and head of the research group on environmental health, Institute of Global Health, University of Geneva. He is a world expert on environmental and health impact assessments and worked in city administration and public health organisations. This allowed him to play an active role in the European and Francophone networks of Healthy Cities since 1994.
