AORTIC affiliation to Infectious Agents and Cancer – IAC

The African Organization for Research and Training on Cancer (AORTIC) has  just established an affiliation with  Infectious Agents and Cancer Open Access online journal.

The two entities have been collaborating for several years, as for the Meeting coverage on the journal (2011 AORTIC Meeting in Cairo)  and the active participation of AORTIC council members to specific sections of the journal. The further affiliation step has been carried out in order to increase their synergy to stimulate and support the African Cancer Research, within the context of a Global Health vision. While economical and political aspects tend to separate people and spur conflicts, science and particularly health research must pursue collective and global aims. New and re-emerging epidemics (i.e. HIV, ebola, avian flu, etc..) show the fragility of human race.

Welcome to the AORTIC organization and its members.

Bienvenue à l’organisation AORTIC et ses membres.
