Dr Mark Robinson is Public Health Intelligence Principal in the Public Health Observatory team at NHS Health Scotland. His current research is focused on monitoring and evaluating Scotland’s alcohol strategy and using simulation modelling to estimate the impact of a wide range of policies on population health and health inequalities.

Dr Garth Reid as a Public Health Intelligence Principal in the Evidence for Action team at NHS Health Scotland. He works on a wide range of public health topics. His most recent publications focused on: reviewing the evidence to identify what impact smoking policy has had in Scotland; eliciting new tobacco control policy ideas from experts; and leading the development of a consensus statement on e-cigarettes in Scotland.
