Bronwyn Barkla

Bronwyn Barkla is an Associate Professor at Southern Cross Plant Science, a special research center of Southern Cross University, in Lismore, Australia. Her research interests include studying the role of membrane proteins in abiotic stress tolerance in both crop plants and model halophytes, and she is currently using innovative membrane separation techniques in combination with a proteomics approach to further understanding in this area. Bronwyn is a representative for the International Plant Proteomics organization and is on the Editorial Board for Journal of Agricultural Sciences, and Frontiers in Plant Biology.
