Did you know that spot number can be used to sort escaped farmed salmon from wild salmon? A recent study published in BMC Ecology shows that while genetics play a minor role, it is the environment that dictates why farmed salmon have more spots.
BMC Palliative Care attended the 10th world research congress of the European Association for Palliative Care (EAPC2018), which took place between May 24th-26th in Bern, Switzerland. This bi-annual meeting addresses global research into the field of palliative care. EAPC2018 attracted 897 abstracts from 55 countries, resulting in 5 plenary talks, 114 oral presentations, and over 350 poster presentations. In this blog, we touch upon some of the highlights of the congress.
