BioMed Central evolutionary biology journals on tour

BMC Evolutionary Biology, BMC Developmental Biology and EvoDevo will be attending two upcoming conferences in the next two weeks:  the First Joint Congress on Evolutionary Biology in Ottawa and the European Society for Evolutionary Developmental Biology conference in Lisbon.

Evolution Ottawa is a joint conference of the American Society of Naturalists, the Canadian Society for Ecology and Evolution, the European Society for Evolutionary Biology, the Society for the Study of Evolution, and the Society of Systematic Biologists, and will be hosting a record 2300 delegates between July 6th-10th.  The conference covers the whole spectrum of evolutionary biology so promises to provide an illuminating overview of a diverse field in a hectic five days.

We would be delighted to meet you at the conference. We will be located at Booth 218 and you can meet us there during the exhibition times (and collect one of our ever-popular Gulliver turtles), or you can get in touch with us at tim.sands@biomedcentral.com
or Genevieve.horne@biomedcentral.com.

For a more focused view, we will also be attending the European Society for Evolutionary Developmental Biology’s Euro Evo Devo conference, in Lisbon from July 10th –13th. Our journal EvoDevo is sponsoring a poster session and we’re looking forward to seeing some fascinating new research. Get in touch with Genevieve.horne@biomedcentral.com to meet up at the conference.
